March 6, 2023: THE 7 BLESSINGS OF OBEDIENCE

חג פורים סמיח!

Chag Purim Sameach! Happy Purim!

Purim begins tonight Monday March 6th, 2023, and it's important to explain how the people of Israel reaped the benefit of favor and blessings by one woman's willingness to obey: Queen Esther (Hadassah).

Make sure to scroll to the end of this message, for a beautiful NEW ANOINTED SONG that Dr. Hadassah & Elihana wrote for this special PURIM Season!

When Queen Esther was confronted with the annihilation of her Jewish people, she was already in the appointed position ADONAI had ordained for her, being married to King Xerxes, who ruled Persia.

Even though it would have been against the law to approach the King, under punishment of death. Mordecai (who was Esther's uncle and father-figure), challenged her not to remain silent, even though she had not been summoned into the King's presence for more than 30 days!

"13 Mordecai sent back this answer: “Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape. 14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

15 Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: 16 “Go, gather together all the Jews who are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I perish.”

17 So Mordecai went away and carried out all of Esther’s instructions." Esther 4:13-17

Esther received a divine plan when she humbled herself and sought the LORD. Her response was courageous and obedient; "If I perish, I perish."

Favor from ADONAI was poured down into the heart of the King and he extended his scepter and accepted her request to approach the throne, as well as her invitation to attend the banquet she had prepared, with Haman!

Esther's identity as a Jew was revealed and the plot to kill the Jews and hang Mordechai on the gallows by the enemy Haman, was exposed.

What the enemy intends for evil, God turns it all around for good!

Haman and his sons ended up being hung on his own gallows and the Jewish people were allowed to defend themselves and come out victorious in the end! HalleluYah!

As a result, many peoples from the land of Persia became Jews:

The faith and boldness of Mordecai to stand firm and to NOT bow down to Haman was rewarded by ADONAI, and his fame spread throughout all the provinces of Susa. Mordecai became great in the King's house! "The Jews established and made a custom for themselves, their descendants, and for all those who allied themselves with them, so that they would not fail to celebrate these two days according to their regulation and according to their appointed time annually." Esther 9:27

OBEDIENCE ALWAYS BRINGS FAVOR AND BLESSINGS!

In Exodus 23, ADONAI gives 7 PROMISES OF BLESSINGS for those who obey the Feasts of ADONAI, three times a year: "Three times a year you are to celebrate a festival to me. 15 “Celebrate the Festival of Unleavened Bread; for seven days eat bread made without yeast, as I commanded you. Do this at the appointed time in the month of Aviv, for in that month you came out of Egypt. “No one is to appear before me empty-handed. 16 “Celebrate the Festival of Harvest with the firstfruits of the crops you sow in your field. “Celebrate the Festival of Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in your crops from the field. 17 “Three times a year all the men are to appear before the Sovereign Lord." Exodus 23:14-17 The Pesach is an act of worship and the Passover Offering is an act of obedience that opens portals of blessings and favor to all who partake, in reverence to ADONAI! We are called to observe all of these feasts FOREVER! Your blessings are unleashed when you fulfill your mutual obligation in accordance to the Covenant of ADONAI with His people. And this is also for those who join themselves to Israel. The foreigners and sojourners have the same obligations and rights of the Covenant. "The same law applies both to the native-born and to the foreigner residing among you.” Exodus 12:49

If we receive the spirit of adoption and are grafted into the Olive Tree, being part of Israel, we shall celebrate the Feasts and reap the blessings as Israelites!

The 7 Blessings stated in Exodus 23, come with the obedience of celebrating the three main Feasts. The feasts involves work in the preparation, and point to YESHUA!

Worship in Hebrew is "Avoda" (Work), which means To Serve.

"Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the Lord says: Let my people go, so that they may worship (serve) Me." Exodus 8:1

The preparation, the celebration and Biblical rituals of the Feasts ordered by ADONAI, and bringing your offerings before Him (Deut. 16:16-17) is an ACT OF WORSHIP (Avoda) that causes the blessings to flow, when done out of a heart of love and reverence to ADONAI.

Here are the 7 Promises of Blessings listed in Exodus 23:20-33:

1) Angels & Direction: God’s Angels to Prepare the Way “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared." Exodus 23:20 2) ADONAI will avenge against your enemies: He will be an enemy to your enemies. "If you listen carefully to what he says (the Angel) and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you." Exodus 23:22

3) Provision & Prosperity: (Blessing on your food and water)

"Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water." Exodus 23:25a

4) Healing: (I will take away sickness) "I will take away sickness from among you." Exodus 23:25b

5) Longevity: (Full life span) "and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span." Exodus 23:26

6) Protection: "I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run." Exodus 23:27

7) Inheritance of the Land: "Little by little I will drive them (your enemies) out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land." Exodus 23:30

Obedience is Worship, as a lifestyle

These blessings apply not only to those who celebrate the appointed Feasts of the Lord, but also the Shabbats. In fact, the Feasts are also referred to as Shabbats, because it is a time set apart completely to Worship the LORD!

This applies to both the Jews and the foreigners that serve the God of Israel:

"2 Blessed is the one who does this— the person who holds it fast, who keeps the Sabbath without desecrating it, and keeps their hands from doing any evil.” 3 Let no foreigner who is bound to the Lord say, “The Lord will surely exclude me from His people.” And let no eunuch complain, “I am only a dry tree.” 4 For this is what the Lord says: “To the eunuchs who keep my Sabbaths, who choose what pleases me and hold fast to my covenant—5 to them I will give within my temple and its walls a memorial and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that will endure forever. 6 And foreigners who bind themselves to the Lord to minister to him, to love the name of the Lord, and to be his servants, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant—7 these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations.” 8 The Sovereign Lord declares— he who gathers the exiles of Israel: “I will gather still others to them besides those already gathered.” Isaiah 56:2-8

Our Obedience is Tested:

"Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands." Deuteronomy 8:2

Our obedience is tested for the purpose of reward and deliverance. Through the obedience of Moses, the people of Israel were delivered from Egypt. The radical obedience of Joshua, to circumcise all the males, consecrating them into the Covenant of Abraham, opened up the portal for the angelical visitation of the Commander of the Army of the LORD. The Commander, YESHUA Himself, was then able to give Joshua the divine strategy to victoriously conquer Jerico and ultimately, the Promise Land. (Joshua 5)

What does it take for us to enter the Promise Land that the LORD has given to each one of us? OBEDIENCE opens the way for the RUACH HA'KODESH (Holy Spirit) to empower us, giving us the endurance and perseverance we need to fulfill the calling of our destiny; His purpose for our lives!

As Queen Esther obeyed and did not compromise, we too must never forget the ordinances of the Feasts, which are FOREVER, and do our part to OBEY!

King Hezekiah re-established the Pesach (Passover), even though his father, the previous king, had abolished the observance of Pesach. Therefore, ADONAI healed King Hezekiah, and added 15 more years to his life! On the same night, the Angel of the LORD went out to the camp of the Assyrians and killed 185,000 of his enemies! (2 Chronicles 30 & 2 Kings 20)

Before Passover, let us bring our lives into the realm of supernatural blessings through our obedience of the celebrations, with all our hearts, with joy, with our Passover & First Fruits Offerings in our hands, as stated in Proverbs 3:9-10:

"Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine."

Our ancestors did not walk in this revelation, as we have the privilege of doing so today.

In 325AD, the Emperor Constantine stopped the Passover as a congregational practice. For nearly 17 centuries the powerful blessing of obedience was withheld from the Body of Messiah, for punishment was severe for those who were caught observing the Feasts - to the point of death!

We need the Restoration of All Things! Our lives are restored when the three main Feasts and the Shabbats are celebrated, with its offerings! This is part of the Restoration!

We are the remnant, repairer of the breach and restore of the streets to dwell in (Isaiah 58:12-14):

Reconciliation is the foundation of YESHUA'S Blood Covenant, which He built, when He reconciled us with the Father through His Blood that was shed on the cross.

And through His Blood, we can sit at the table, circumcised in the heart, forgiven and reconciled to Israel and the nations, grafted into the Olive Tree!

"A scroll of remembrance was written in His presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored His Name. 17 “On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him. 18 And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not." Malachi 3:16B-18

Amen and Amen!
